Question Hurricane Assistance and Insurance Claims

Any board members ever have to make this type of insurance claim? I'm still waiting to hear from my agent if I will be covered or not. Also was thinking those of us in the Hurricane's path might be able to help each other get their boats to safety. Sound like a good idea?

I know most people will be boarding and taping windows and such, but screw the house, I'll go Nuckin Futs without the boat.

Lightbulb Shame to waste a leg of the trip empty

treadwell,

Being that you are going to be hauling unisured boats out of Isabel's reach, I assume you will be making the return trip empty for the next pickup.
Would you be interested in hauling insured 2nd boats back to NC

hurricane is covered under storm damage as long as there is no damage from flooding rain water. i just filed a claim earlier this year for claudette. wind and hail = covered. flooding water = screw you. unless you have flood coverage, of course.

on another note. FEMA won't give me anything because i make too much money. they were nice enough to send me a letter telling me to go F myself in spanish.

I meant to ask if anyone ever had to make a claim on their boat insurance for hurricane damage.
