I would like to Thank Everyone who had a hand in putting on the Poker run We had a Great Time.& i'd like to Give a SPECIAL Thank's to Kevin for letting us borrow a outdrive even tho it had no nose cone & our shower wouldn't fit & we had a twisted shaft on other drive.and had to use 32 lab prop's Instead of our regular 34s twisted to 35 1/2..& still ran over 120.Again Thank's Kevin we had a Ball.

I'm trying to figure the logic....1st boat to the 1st stop.

ok ...you ran 120 for a minute or 2 .and got out of the sticks for some reason....and then you didn't know where to go , along with another boat or 2 ..well the run was mapped out twice in the handout.

but as we read here on the board , 1st boat 1st stop. That is what we prepped for. That is what we did . That's all we are saying , nothing more nothing less.

it really is no big deal , but I will be the 1st to admit that we take running that Skater quite seriously , and work very hard at all the aspects of getting where we are going as fast as we can. throttling ,driving, NAVIGATION , set-up and knowing when not to let off and hopefully when to . As you said yourself gotta be race ready guess we were !
even though we all know it was not a race

If you wanna drag race....go drag racing, I like corners and waves. We were told to the first stop.....that's what we did. The was alot of really trick stuff at the run...all flavors and sizes.........but the biggest wallet doesn't always win. 1987 24' SKATER w/ 400 STOCK HP!!!!!! There are guys out there with more money in one engine than I have in my whole boat.

I would like to personally thank all Velocity owners and friends for making the Jacksonville Poker Run such a success. I hope everyone had a great time. I know I did. Looking forward to next year's run already. This was the second annual and has now become tradition. Regards ... Kenny. PS: In the meantime let's search for other runs. Let me know if there are any runs you'd like to go on.
