Default My first ride in a Hurst!!

Rode around in one tonight, 79 with a 425, bored 30 over, milled heads, accel ignition, new carb and edelbrock intake manifold Lots of fun, you wont believe the looks you get with that thing, LOL. There was a casket in the back, made it a ton more fun.

Oh, you mean "HEARSE", as in what we'll all take our last ride in.
Who the hell, wants to ride around in hearse? Might be ok on halloween. How macabre.

Chit, I thought you meant a Hurst Oldsmobile.

And Patty's last name isn't Hurst it's Hearst.

Didn't Hurst also work with Ford on some early 70's Mustangs?

Payton,

QUOTE: "Didn't Hurst also work with Ford on some early 70's Mustangs?"

No, that was Hertz, as in Hertz rental cars. My Bro-in-Law is a Mustang buff and told me that Hertz was leasing Mustang 350 GTs, but people were drag racing these hot rods. They were also bringing the lease cars back with Ford 289's in them, as the lease companies did not know better. Seems the insurance companies were not too fond of these cars either...

That's right. That's the story read. The name was ringing a bell, just to many dead brain cells to remember the whole story.
Thanks
