Weather Channel said these photos were faked and that neither one is even a hurricane much less Hurricane Isabel.

there is no way the water would be that calm around that ship!! I am betting they are fake. THey do look cool as hell though!

They are wall clouds produced by big thunderstorms, photoshoped a bit. There are pictures around the net of other wall clouds that are just fascinating.

Pictures were sent to me and I thought they looked a little strange! Nothing can escape the keen eyes of OSOer's I shall tell them Thanks Jo.

There have been a couple of threads on this. Nick (Baja Daze) had them before the storm was even a hurricane I believe.

Zoom in on your photo with the ship. the cloud is perfectly straight down and across. The ship is another fake as the pixles don't line up correctly.
