Just had an e-mail that asks you to go to a sight and give all kinds of info:

BOGGUS!!!!! Don't fall for it.

I just filled out the form with some nice, choice words.

I hate scammers. :mad:

Yea, I got that one too, forwarded it to ebays cops. Of course, never heard anything back from ebay.

Nice how they link the help section back to ebay. See how the address changes?

The Ebay cops must like me they responded. I filled it out with bogus info. At least they'll waste some time running it.

Here is a story from a few days ago about a guy doing this exact thing. Do you think some other low lifes learned how from the article?

If the link does not work, it is in the Tech Section. The guy claims he made $2M scamming "customers".

Glad I changed my password 3 times lately... just in case.. ya never know.

I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but my God, the people that filled in that form and hit the submit button almost deserve to have their identities stolen.

The only thing they left out was Mothers maiden name.

Unfortunately, some people wont know any better.

I know for a fact that e-bay has become the most utilized vehicle for perpatrating fraud on the internet today. Just a reminder: If it sounds too good to be true it probably is. Hundreds of thousands of $$$ are lost every single day to fraud. Be very very careful.
