I dont understand the question.
As a gift for the Bride and Groom to start a new life? Or to solicite a Bridesmaid the night of the wedding? Please be more specific.

"acceptable monetary wedding gift?"

As in you're going to someone's wedding, how much to stuff in the card?

I usually give 100 bucks...200 if they're REALLY good friends.

Tantrum 09-26-2003 03:17 PM

I usually go $250 if the wedding is paid for and $350 if the happy couple is flipping the bill themselves. I dont know how I came up with that but its just what I do.

Baja Daze;
I most often decline the less than "really good friends" and go boating.

Sling , Good friend go $200 and keep in mind you're saving tux rental (about $125) since your not in the wedding.
