my 2 cents, I really don't know exactly what happened here, but i did own an eliminator for a few years, i always beat on it in rough water and it was the only boat that i owned that i just could not break, it was extremly well built, but they are not magic boats, they can go over or stuff a wave at high speeds, then any thing could happen to it.
