Well I finally told Cable to BLOW!!!!
 

Well yesterday I had enough of CUMCAST!!!! My internet service has been real sporatic at best and I constantly had to reset my modem. As far as my TV channels I got none as they never provisioned my cable box (still have yet to put the sat up in the new house). SO I call them up and ask what is up and they tell me I am not sapposed to have a cable box and now they are going to charge me for it!!!! I was pissed and the long of the short is I told them to stuff everything up their butts and disconnect me. Now I go to return all the stuff we had. The ladie is behind a HUGE glass wall like you see in the banks in NY :eek: :eek: I say to her "so you have that many happy customers" :D:D

I have DSL now and it is SO MUCH FASTER and actually WORKS!!! Not to mention it is about 15 bucks a month cheaper then Cumcast was (actually 33 if you did not get cable services)

Now if it was not raining I could set up my dish and be done with them for good!!! :D:D

Moral of the story..... GO DSL....CABLE SUCKS :D:D

I SECOND THAT!! Unfortunately DSL is not available in many of the more remote areas where cable is. BUT, If you have a choice, I would say, " Don't think twice: go DSL!" --- Jer

I have DirecTV and SBC DSL. I love them both! :D

CABLE is like the DEMOCRATS
The only thing they know is to lie.
I just love the cable comercials that talk about how bad the dish is.
If the IDIOT would mount the dish like the directions say then their wouldn't be any problem.
I recently tried to get DSL but it isn't available YET.
I hate cable for the TV - the picture sucks and NO HDTV
As soon as I can get DSL the cable goes.
I do have good speed but it costs way too much.

I have SBC dsl. The service and support is great.

now get your card done up for the dish and get all the channels

I am a dish dealer, so I can get them all for free anyhow :D:D Just call them up and tell them that I need a showroom activation. Get everything but the porn and locals. Don't care aboout the locals as I have HDTV and I pull them off the airial :D:D

I agree, cable is a ripoff. The only sure things in life are death and taxes, and that you cable bill will go up at least every two months. I got tired of it, told them to stuff it several years ago, and don't miss it at all! Yeah, we had "free" cable for about a year after we moved into our current house - they forgot to disconnect from the previous owners. :cool: But once they did disconnect us, I didn't really miss it that much. Who has time to sit around watching most of the crap that is on TV anyway? I would rather be outside on the boat! And if I want to watch a movie - I can rent/buy a LOT of DVD's for $50 per month!

Oh BTW, Audio, "Cumcast"? :crazy: Are you serious, or were you just twisting the real name around to make it more humerous?!? That sounds like a porn pay-per-view! :D
