Question Tabs, OB's, and cats

I was wondering if some of you can give me some information on tabs and there use on cats with outboards? What are the pros and cons? Worth the effort/cost? Where are they mounted and how are they powered with OB's? Do they use the same system as I/O's?

TIA.

I have installed a tunnel tab on my 30' motion with outboards. The difference was dramatic. It eliminated all porpoise and even added 1-2 mph on the top end. In rough water it now feels like an inboard boat.
