i cant imagine winning that for 25.00, hell it costs me more then that just to look at each day

Come on , finish the boat, it's gonna be unique piece, something that will never make financial sense ( hot rod boats = stupid dollars ), but there will be a different kind of satisfaction

, besides you can practically buy a 36 Skater at Walmart

They're like Sony TV's everybody knows they work great, and are probably the best, but few people lust after them. Your boat, if done right, will reward you in different ways ;
