Elim SCL dug its left front sponsoon. It nearly sunk, but the tow boats put air bags on it.
Just so ya know.. the tow guys were trying to be WAY too tough on the tow bill! I'm sure someone with the facts will share the $$ details.

I don't think that was the Eliminator ?????

I didn't realize the Eliminator had the flat deck .... my bad :confused:

We were eyeing the Elim when they put it in the water... We were all commenting on how strange it was that the boat didn't have trim tabs...
Well, it did before, as there were holes spackled closed where the tabs were before...
I'm no cat guy, but I'd think they'd be key in keeping the boat in control...

I'm not certain they have any on their 46 either. On the back stretch of the first lap in the PX race, they stood the 46 almost straight up. Thought for sure they were going over.

didn't have a camera with me but watched them on friday dip the silver boat in the boat and then about when it was going out a Callan boat came to dock
