O/T NHL opening night
can't believe it's already here. Anybody got any predictions for the season?
|
Red Wings might be tough with Hasek coming back. Devils are strong, probably the early pick to repeat. Hard to count out Colorado, though I hate them. If the Flyers get good goaltending and can find the chemistry to match their talent, they might go. Unfortunately, as always, Boston won't. And I remember distinctly Bobby (the greatest hockey player who ever played the game) Orr flying through the air after scoring on Derek Sanderson's pass from behind the net to win the cup.
Ottawa might finally do it. Going to be an interesting season for sure. |
Don't forget Derian Hatcher!

Go Wings

Ottawa Sens all the way. Go Sens Go

Have to pull for my underdog, dead last place last season Hurricanes. Hopefully Staal will continue to score past pre-season. I'm pulling for them against the Panthers tomorrow night.

I don't see My FLYERS Going anywhere this year :(

The Whale!
Let's Go Whalers.............I mean Hurricanes.
Can't wait to see them spank the Bruins on 10/23. |
Originally posted by Chris232 wear #23 my all time favorite Ranger... He was a great guy on and off the ice; always doing things for the community, even to this day. He was really laid back and had no problems shooting the chit after he signed my jersey. It's too bad and sad that his career had to come to an abrupt stop after the final blow. I can still remember the Garden skaking when the whole crowd would be reverberating from a unanimous "Booooooook" every time he would level someone. :D |
Hartford has always been Bruins bi*ch (Philly too). Look for more of the same in '03 . . .

But who would have thought the Whale would have a more recent appearance in the Cup finals ----- the magical run of 2002. As for the Bruins, look for more of the same in 03-04, them playing to a half empty Fleet Center and searching for somebody to play between the pipes. |
CAPO71 - Take a look at your Flyers NOW. . . plus, Mike Comrie for chrissake. . . . I'm a Bruins fan, and I HATE the Flyers, but they're the team to beat in the East.
|
I agree but Philly teams always fall apart on that last home stretch for the championships Look at the Eagles and Flyers both always make it to playoffs but fall short

Ok I see MY Flyers/ Ok Philadelphia flyers making it to the Playoffs as usual and that's about it. But then again they make it that far almost every year and never come home with that big silver looking thing
