Is Spectre going to build a bigger one? Let's say 29-35 Feet with twins or trips. Then I'm reachin for the check book! Boat looks great, just a little small for the nasty water around here.

Default project 24

I believe the project was developed out of the 22 Spectre/motion sold in the late 80's and early 90's . Clients like myself we looking to complement our "pure speed" boat with a friends and family machine. Jay did us one better and made it quick.

I also know the plan is to offer a complete line of true 'race quality ' 24-36 ft offshore sportfish machines.

Buck......relax it's a 24 ft fish/fun boat.

Aqua ...16 inches at idle

Maximus.

Cat, a couple of companies have offered speed fish cats ...none were successful. It was kind of like opening a restaurant were three had failed in the past.

That is the best looking center console vee I have ever seen. 70 with a 250... Strong.... Jay is always very honest about the performance of his boats. I am glad to hear he is expanding his line-up. After buying my 30 cat from him I would never buy a boat from anyone else.

Default Speed and History

Things have gone exceptionally well this week with the 24. Although we have not been able to test labbed props on the boat, we were able to test a standard 4 blade, which showed 65mph on gps . Very stable.

The first "Arch" was installed yesterday... looks great this can be "powdercoated or polished "

I'll post pic's this weekend.

HISTORY:

I was able to track the history of the design (i think).

While the design has been modified significantly since the molds were purchased from APACHE. That's right the 22 mold is the former Apache Hot Rod sport boat.

Pilini believes Apache lifted their boat from Challenger/Shadow. So maybe T2x can fill us in if this is true or not. In any case the basic hull design however modified is Fast and Stable.

I believe (before my time) the grandparents of this boat were tried and true performers. If it is true that Apache splashed the Challenger then we know how she will perform in a "Merc wake test". Pilini was telling me about one of the coolest boat picture's in his memory. A Challenger/ Shadow standing straight up while performing "the wake test.

Either way the 24SCS has a world class Heritage. And her fore fathers would be proud of the workmanship updates and tuning that has gone into producing this great performer.
