I just walked outside my office and the sound of raceboats testing overwhelmed me. All the race teams are arriving ...Lot's of activity and beautiful machines.

Looks like it's going to be a very exciting weekend!

I heard last night that there are like well over 100 boats registered. It's going to be awesome!

I'm jealous, I wish I was listening to the boats right now! :D

We went to Baywalk last night. There were a bunch of people out there partying. We hooked up with DangerKitty, Manitee and Glenn.

Yea I can't wait to get out of the office! I am driving over tonight. Heard there is a party on the pier starting at 10:00. All my buds from up north are there already and have been harrasing me all day!

ok I have a question... where IS the pier? I know I know... I should know this but I dont... I will be staying at my brothers house this weekend, he lives in St Pete off of 34th street.

Head towards downtown, St. Pete and head East on 2nd Ave N. You can't miss it!

I figured it was hard to miss.... But thought I would ask...

Just got in from the Pier. 11:45 and it was just getting going !!! GREAT RACE SITE as always !!!! I'm just glad it's back at St.Pete. I had a camera with me all day but not one pic was snapped....i'll try and do better tomorrow. Dave

Cuda thanks for the pic. Those guy's were leading and broke. I'll be racing them in another 28 Joker in Orange Beach . BH

I asked them after the race what broke. They told me the hose from the riser to the exhaust tip broke and they were filling the bilge with seawater. I've done that myself. She looked good! I like the high freeboard on the boat.

I have a Bit of a head ache. this morning and my ears are still ringing from the race.
