After a great conversation on the phone with Gordo, I have a message for all:

A-78 is locked, cocked and ready to ROCK!!!!

That must have been early cause Gordo's phone is MIA !!! I just left him at the pier and he might be MIA before we know it.......:D :D :D Dave

I saw it there, but we didn't have enough light left to get a picture.

I actually talked to Gordo on DRG'S phone. Several times. He did say that his phone was MIA.

TRG _ Have you talked with Gordo this am ??? Just wondering how many bottles of asprin to bring down to St.Pete with me.....:D :D :D Dave Warden

Wardey, most of the guys seemed in pretty good shape last night. They all had to take a breathalyzer at 7:30 this morning.:p

Haven't talked to Gordo this morning. I do know that the first race was delayed. I've talked to DRG but that's it.

Cuda - Which bar were you guy's at ? We were with Gordo and the gang until about 12:00 at Big Al's or something like that. I know they said they didn't get in until around 2:00 am. Dave

Gordo won the A class race, I have pictures, but I'm too inebriated to post them.

TRG - Probably so. We left the pits around 7:00 and rode my truck over to the peir. I stayed until about 11:30 or so and left to shoot back up to Palm Harbor. He said he had a major headache this am. I'm glad I left when I did !!! Dave Warden

Thank you again for posting for me. When I flew out last Thursday, it didn't look like things would come together in time. Thanks to a lot of people, we turned a potential missed race into a National Championship.
