very, very nice ride

IceAngel 10-20-2003 08:32 PM

Craig 223,
I built it for a client of mine. And the 5 of us tested it during the Miami Show.

Back4More,
It was basically 686" motors, big solid roller cams, external wetsump oiling system, can't remember if they were 10 or 12 - 71 blowers, and we turned them @ 6000 rpm could have went more but I wasn't comfortable due to the cubic inches. It made over 1200 hp and torque was enormous from 2500 rpm and didn't fall off until just over 6000 on the dyno.

Well bro that was actually in the 1200+ HP trim I just never really leaned on it hard since they were fresh. But it did bump upper 90's with out flinching didn't it.

It was real tiring judging from that smile on your face.

Sydwayz 10-21-2003 10:21 PM

I spent a little time on that boat too. Thank you Sean, Batgirl, and BG2. Skipping across real 6-7s like it was nothing! I will admit, I too had CheckmateF1 on the cell phone!! :D

cigarette1 10-21-2003 10:36 PM

The owner and I took the Oh Behaave boat (900Merc #6's) out last Saturday. Ran it to Catalina around 11:00. We were running with a Gladiator and a Donzi ZR. Of course we had to be big dog running into a swell with 4's.

Holy Moly  Flew it at 85+ and TRIPPED  .... tail up .. nose down .... hit hard .... almost submerged .... didn't even get wet. It takes a BIG fukk up to stuff a Tiger.

Didn't leave Avalon until sometime around 3:30 in big rolling whitecaps ... 85-90+ all the way back.

This is the same dock as in post 1-4

Gary that picture kills me...

cigarette1 10-22-2003 09:07 AM

I think that pic is from the day the owner of Oh Behaave asked me to take the boat back to Newport for him. He had to leave for business reasons.

One of my favorite runs ever. About a 20 mile run along side of kwb's Tiger and Dman's 1000hp/#6 Top Gun.

Thanks Jim

cbdragon 10-22-2003 09:24 AM

Hey don't run myTiger like that. Oh Behaave means just that. They love to run. cb

cigarette1 10-22-2003 10:09 AM

Craig,

You know I wouldn't do that to your baby ..... Jim was on the sticks.

GLH 10-22-2003 10:13 AM
