Default Marine Stereos

I'm looking for a good source for marine stereos. I'm looking to do it right. I want to hear it while I'm underway, or hear as much as i can. Kicker has some pretty nice subs and mids for marine. Just wanted to hear what you guys had to say....

I got two Kicker 12 subs and 4 Kicker 6 1/2. One amp just for the subs and one for the other 4. Sounds great and you can listen to it at speed. I had the same priority as you. Loud but had to be clear.

A lot has to do with the placement of the speakers and how much power you want to run thru them. Kikers are a good water spaeker, along with the uper clarions for marine, altho others can be used, be sure to coat the magnets and frames with something to prevent prmature rust.

Stecz20

I have sony cd head unit w/ 6 disc changer, 6 kicker 6 1/2 speakers 2 mb Quartz tweeters, twin Punch 250 amps, wired sony remote, two 10" kicker comp subs.

It rocks, however if I had it to do all over I would probably go with Babbs for mids, Kicker Solo Baric subs (the square ones) Keep the sony cd head/changer and remote. Mb Quart tweeters and up the amps to Punch 500.

Also I would mount my mids as high up as possible, even if it required cutting into the upholstery. Also i would go with the new Billet marine grills to match the boats Grafx.

Will Good Luck

Look at poly planars new head unit it is completely water proof and has ir remote that links through the wired remotes. This remote also floats.

I sell Rockford Fosgate, Kicker, MBQuart, BABB, Diamond, Bazooka and many home audio brands as well. Have about $300,000 in inventory. It is getting close to the time of the year that we blow out inventory. Have been in the biz twenty one years so along with the purchase we include the right advice to make a system that works well and sounds great.

Mention OSO for your deal when you call me at (813)882-8477. Please call between 9am and 6pm EST.
