Looking for references / comments on Full Throttle Marine & Victory Marine.
Planning on having my engines (1995 502 EFI's) rebuilt and just wanted to check with OSO members to see what experiences they have had with each shop. One is located in Houston and the other is located in Austin. I have spoken with both and they have been very helpfull, but I have learned in the past the hard way that it is always best to check them out.
Thanks, ST31 |
On the one in houston. You might want to contact 'Ms. INXS' look her up under the search that is her screen name. I believe they are having INXS 47 fountain converted to pleasure at the houston location.

I bought some props from them. They came in the mail well packed. Shipping was was a little high, though.

My neighbor had an engine rebuilt by Victory Marine. It was in a 24' Outlaw, I think it was a 454. He likes them a lot and would recommend them.
TS is right, check with 'Ms. INXS' their boat (the 47' INXS) is there being redone. I remember a few months back they had their Scarab (Just Say NO) there getting Whipple Chargers put on. |
I went to Victory Marine Today. I drove there from Galveston about 30 minutes... then ask permission to take some pictures of some of the boats for a marine architecture class.... I was told no by their secretary and that if I left my number she could call me if her boss said it was ok. It was a waste of my time, and I would think she could have at least asked someone in the back if it was of. I should have taken the pictures anyways. Her attitude would make me never want to do business with them.
