let me tell you why the APA sucks

just thought I would vent, has anyone on here had any dealings with the adirondack park agency. I was buying a house with alot of property in a subdavision, I was going to break it up into 2 lots and sell one for profit, the town agreed and said it was ok and another house there would be a nice addition to the development but the APA just called me back and said it couldn't be done because it did not meet there minimum requirement of .92 acres., it would have been .75 acres. and what pisses me off is this lot would be one of the largest lots in the development, but all the rest were developed before the APA came about. This is just another example of how the goverment is slowly robbing us of our fredom, if the truth be known this was an probobly an organazation created by demacrats.
Well thats it I just thought I would vent, let me know if any of you has had similar experiances with the APA.

Yes I have had dealings with them. ANYONE who lives within the parks boundaries deals with them. Oh, and BTW it's The Adirondack Park Agency not association.

yeah...try buying anything on the east end of Long Island...you must pay a "land preservation" tax.

on a 500,000 home, that tax amounts to $7200!

forget about buying undeveloped waterfront because you won't even be able to pitch a tent and look at your water view!

don't even get me started.
