cig 20...no question...my favorite small perormance boat...you'll never lose on the resale.

i think you said you needed a sunpad...an unfortunately that rules out some pretty fast boats---the 21 Superboat, and 22 Velocity O/B to name a few...

The boat only has 38 hours on it. I got it last oct and I am selling it because I can hanle that fact that all myh bros have BIGGER boats, plush the lake I live on gets pretty rough at times.
If You are serious call me and I am sure we can work something out if you like the boat

If you don`t mind an older boat, I`d like to recommend the Searay Pachanga 22. We have one for the everyday boat and I am constantly amazed how well these things run! Ours has a bone stock 350 Mag and it runs 64.0 on gps!! no bull. 23p Lazer 2 at 4900 rpm and it has a decent cuddy too.

There are some really clean ones out there with big block power

The Minx is a little different than the Classics. It has more freeboard and a different windshield.

I agree, that a Hornet or GT 21 is a nice ride. Here is a GT 21 for sale that has been completely redone. Twins!:)

You should really take a look at WETTE VETTE'S Baja 210 Sport. It is a true 70 mph boat with stock power, no B.S.!!! It has a Gps speedo, a shortie drive and hydraulic steering. It is in perfect condition!!!!! I do all my boating with Vette and he is a very meticulous about the way he cares for this boat. It looks brand new! If you are looking at spending $30 G's, this boat is half the price. By, the way Checkmate also makes sweet smaller performance boats. :D

there is only one choice in this size group, and that is an allison, 98 mph with a stock 225 promax, great all around boat.

20ft Baja outlaw............or you can buy my 22ft Hammer. :)

Re: 20' boat recommendations?

If you would like a real performance boat and not a family "sedan" like these previous posts recommend, I would go with a 22ft Activator (if you can get Mark to make you one). With a 2.5 it would be a great performer!!

20 foot Donzi Minx. The most fun boat I've ever driven. It can run in a chop without loosening your fillings. This one is NOT for sale, but there are a few around.

I had a Chaparral Villain II which was 19 feet. If you want to build something you can do what I did. By the time it was done I had, including the cost of the boat, I had only $10,000 in the boat. Most of the savings was from my own labor. Not bad for a mid 60mph boat. Believe it or not I was even able to have a set of stand-up bolsters made for the boat without it looking top heavy. I only sold the boat, because it was a little small for South Florida water. I was planning to add an aluminum swin platform on the back. I think for your needs this is a great boat. 19', 5.7/Alpha, Thru-Hull exhust, Trim-tabs, Engine cover pad. There are plenty of then out there, just depends if you want to rebuild it to your specs or leave it as you find it. Take a look at what I did. Not bad for 19' boat.
