Hey, I had one of those too. . . . same year! Fun boat. No idea on a name, but here is a tip:
Remove the stock air boxes and install K&N filters. Then you'll need bigger impellors. I used Solas. Got more speed and throttle response was improved about 30% by doing those inexpensive mods. I was working on a way to aim the jet output higher (like triming up an outdrive) because the boat rides with it's nose in the water. Aim the jets up and I know there is even more speed in the boat. I was thinking of adapting Seadoo jet bike adj. nozzles to the speedster. |
