OT: New Grandson!

Yep- mom is doing fine, too. Looks like baby will be staying in hospital until about February, but mom can come home Monday or Tuesday.

Is he in an Incubator? I was born small also but grew fast and now I am 6' tall and 200lbs. He looks great, very nice. You are going to have fun living vicariously thru him. Start saving now for that "project Rough Rider"

WOW that is tiny! Best wishes to a healthy child. :D

UPDATE: Jan 22, 2004, 2 months old.
He is up to 4 lb 6 oz, and doing well. I got to hold him for the first time today. We expect him to come home from NICU in another 2 weeks or so. It's been a long, bumpy road for him and his mom, as well as my wife and I.

David, he's looking great! So adorable! I hope he continues to do well and gets home soon. Keep us posted.

Also missed it the first time around, I must say I was so busy looking at the pic of the baby in the first post and worrying about his future, that I did not notice the date. I was so happy when I got to the picture of you holding him. What a thrill that must have been for you ......... although it looks like you did not shave for the occasion:D
