It's the "attention to detail". Not so much the "racing" thing.

It's the little things that cost you $425large.
Why on earth would you want to race a boat that cost so much money ?

You might scratch the anchor.

The only thing I hate about cigarette, is that when I explain what kind of boat I have to the avg non boater, I have to tell them I have a "cigarette type boat, but 24ft." It's like "xerox" or "kleenex".

I couldnt say "I have an outlimits type boat" or "apache type boat".

They are very cool though, but the coolest????

IMHO.............Its kind of a torn up thing.......the old Cigs are cool because they old Cigs......you know old school and all that, and the tradition.......but they are so slow its hard to be cool........I mean c'mon, I saw an add for a 35 Cig with 1400hp that did 70-72 mph.........that is NOT cool.....sorry.......on the other hand..........The new Cigs are as fast and as modern and up to date as anything out there, great in your face colours etc .......cool......but the company has changed hands SO many times its crazy........its not the same in a "traditional' sense.....its a 'watered down' Cigarette if you will........this week this guy has the rights to the name........next week....who knows.......not cool........doug


PS with all the bashing that has been going on lately I am tempted to say but I wont.........."And then you have Fountain.....the little guy is the founder, the creator and is still at the helm, STILL setting records coming up to 30 years....." :D :D :cool: :drink: :drink:
