Hummer H2 and '03 Corvette Convertable
I'm thinking about trading/selling my vehicles for one each of each of these. Trade '98 Dodge Caravan + '99 F150 4x4 + $25k for the Hummer and Trade '94 Miata + '99 Taurus + $35k for the Vette. (I would find them used with less than 10k miles).
My idea is to consolidate the cars go from 4 to 2, upgrade to newer '03's, have more fun vehicles, but not to lose any function. We need to tow the boat/jet boat/jetski, haul Sam's Club and Home Depot shopping, drive in the snow, commute to work, enjoy the summer topless, snob appeal.
What are your opinions and experiences with these two vehicles.

I drove a H2, some neat things on them, auto adjusting mirrors!
And the vette is a cop magnet, and everyone assumes you will be wreckless and speed (at least they assume that of me).

I can't imagine why ANYONE would want an H2. Basically its a Suburban with less room for more money. Whats the message you are trying to send here, " Gee, I wish I was an 18 year old solder". Do you where camo when you drive it? Or are you just insecure and need a vehicle that says "LOOK AT ME".

Wow Madcow, that is a little harsh. You obviously have not ever been in an H2 if you beleive it is a basically a Suburban. I drive an H2 not for any other reason than it is simply the best riding SUV on the market that can go anywhere. Do you own a Bayliner?, if not what kind of message are you trying to send!
Cobra Marty the H2 is a great vehicle. Even when people I know cant understand why I would buy an H2 they no longer question the purchase after a ride in one.
