The original photo was auctioned off at the sarasota race in 01. I want that photo.
Not sure if the one I have is the original, but it's says copyright Cliff Erickson on the back. It's full color, framed, and pretty big. (about 18 x 22). I make Stan keep all of his trophies and pictures upstairs in a room I call the Faded Glory room. It's a big room!!! :D LyAnn |

The Popeyes Cougar had a 6 Outboard powerheads in a lay down configuration....connected via gilmer belts to a pair of shafts which connected to 2 #5 Mercruisers....very trick. The anty was upped for a later kilo run when 2 additional powerheads were added......
The race shown, Treasure Cay, was also the inaugural race for the Jesse James 35' Conquest. By the way, I also believe the photo of the inauguration of the Goetz was taken at Miami. T2x |
