Packin 110 is no problem to leave on but 220 can get ya in trouble. We had to do 470 (european Voltage) the other day on one of the flow form machines at a machine shop and I was very nervous for a few hours as we did it even with the gloves on.

120 Volts AC CAN, AND HAS, killed many people. It only takes about 250 milliamps (1/4 amp) to stop your heart. It is really a matter of luck. I don't work anything hot anymore after finding this out. Be careful.
