Default Can someone explain the classified BS to me.

I have registered and payed to be a member. I now have registered to sell and payed for an add. Now my add cant even be seen in the parts for sale. Its in the classifieds. How do you post in the parts for sale section. It wont let me. Do you have to pay again to advertise there. This is crap...

Yup you just have to register out there as well. No extra fee. They are almost like to seperate boards on two different servers so you do have to register twice.

Ok now take a deep breath in through the mouth.... and out through the nose......repeat

No, you must be a Platinum member to use the classifieds in the Bulletin Board. It clearly explains this on the purchase page. We have the Bulletin Board Classifieds at the request of the members, the formal Classifieds is where I would put my ad, more traffic there.

Default Clarification

Is this correct?

Platinum Member = Free Formal Classifieds
All others = Pay for Formal Classifieds
All others = access to bulletin board "For Sale"

There seems to be a lot less items for sale in the Formal Classifieds than there used to be. Is the fee keeping people from putting items up for sale in that section?

Default Let's try this again - Is this correct?

Bulletin Boards Classifieds (Parts For Sale, Boats for Sale) = Must be a Platinum member to post new threads ($49 membership annual fee).

Formal Classifieds = Everyone pays for each ad placed regardless of membership (also requires seperate registration).

In my opinion, this is why there are so few parts listed in the Classifieds. It also explains why people will list 10 items for sale under 10 new threads in the Parts for Sale Forum and often bump them to the top (ttt).

10 parts for sale in classifieds = $150 fee (30 days only)
10 Parts for sale in forum = free (only for platinum members).
