Question boating law question???

On an episode of Cheaters a guy is on his pontoon fishing and the TV crew just pirates his boat out of nowhere...He told them numerous times to get off his boat but they did'nt leave. He ended up stabbing the host and fighting the rest of the TV crew...

My question is who is in the wrong? He told them several times to get off. They could have stayed their boat and did what they needed to do, no reason to board his boat uninvited.

I know each state has different laws and this happened on Texoma I believe. In some states you can protect your car like your home and its legal to have a gun in your vehicle without a license...In TX I have always been told that at night you can shoot anyone on your property trespassing if you fear for your life...
