Boat bar?
Has anyone seen, or built, a wet bar that incorporates an old boat hull into the design? Any ideas?
dig a big hole in your back yard.. fill with water and have a floating bar.. LOL
Where's Glassdave? He has a transom from some old offshore he's tirning into a bar
yep . . i have the rear 4 feet of an Obsession that i helped part out. i also have about 6 feet of the nose. either would make a cool bar. its one of those projects i have sitting at the ware house that SOMEDAY i swear i will get to.
I swear I'll get to all of my projects eventually, then I get on OSO. Now I have to build a boat bar. I just keep falling farther behind.
OBTW, the bow of an open bow boat would work well...

The attached pic is of a small boat bar that we use as a table. I think glassdave and I are thinking alike.
If anyone else has ideas, please post them. |
I have been thinking about the same thing. Here in OH there is a boat for sale that is split in half. I have been considering buying it for turning it into a bar. Its not an 0ffshore though:(

Sam's Boat in Houston has a boat in the middle of the bar were the waitresses serve beer and food from, it's a big ass fishing boat but still cool.
