If your going as far as Gilberts and Key Largo don't forget before Gilbert's take a right at Card Sound bridge and make Alabama Jacks!! Was at Gilberts and Jack's during Thanksgiving. Both great places with good food and drink. And can't you go to Monty's in the Grove by boat also? Happy hour on the deck with the shrimp and stone crabs by the piece!! I'm already missing it!! Maybe a job there soon.

Southport Raw Bar off of 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale is always fun. Night time at Riverwalk is a blast. Blue Moon Cafe just north of Commercial is good also, especially for Sunday brunch

And if you want a little Miami River adventure, try Garcia's (at 5th st) just west of downtown, where you get some of the BEST seafood with a Cuban edge.
Always good, always crowded, always reasonable!:D

houston's in pompano beach , that was a great spot. it was kinda like a washing machine north of houston's .it was like right after you would go under the bridge and pass the charter boat across the waterway HIT THE STICKS WFO!!! THAT'S HOW IT WAS 2 YEARS AGO ANYWAY. PROBABLY A MANATEE ZONE NOW:crazy:
