Be careful
This morning there were accidents all over from black ice. Keep an eye on the temps if your trailering through the night. Also throw a post on the board so we know you made it safe.

After towing over 3000 miles in 2 weeks, the Tekonsha Prodigy is a life saver. I am sure most of you are using it, but the automatic adjustment on it kicks the $hit out of the old style.

well after spending the whole day in the snow serviceing it, I finished ,and it stopped snowing..........
Now my face is frozen ! But at least I know the bearings and the brakes are perfect !

R addiction:D Thats a ranger ! 1350lbs of tongue weight wasn't too bad ..:rolleyes: Don't need no stinkin air bags !!:D :D

Troutly , the way things looked this morning ,I wouldn't have gone with my Kenworth ! Black ice everywhere !

WARPARTY36, I like the "prodigy" too .I even have one in my Kenworth . You would be surprised ,I can't get anyone to spend the money for that one . They all go for the cheaper ones ...... Most people spend more money on lunch on the water ,then that . Actualy "Excavator " here on the board ,got one from me .He said he had a problem but wasn't sure if it was the trailer or the controler .( Are you there Paul ?)

I hope the excusion gets out of the shop soon . The ranger doesn't have that outside air temp display !!

Well uh...it was snowing so hard I couldn't see that it was a Ranger!! You would think I could tell them apart by now....I work at a GMC dealership and just finished one up before I came home!!!!DOH!!!!!;)

Boatme, If you use the draw tite brake control, keep an extra one in the truck ! I replace several every week!

My professional opinion , they are junk ! No offense to you . I sell thousands of other draw tite parts but I would never sell one of there controllers . Several people a week come to me to get rid of them and upgrade to a Tekonsha 9030 or 9035. I just started a collection box last week. I am going to see how many draw tite brake controls I can collect in one year . It's gonna be a big box !:D

Several years back draw tite copied Tekonsha old style system .that one didn't work either and tekosha was getting ready to ditch it . D.T. thought they were sneaky .Turned out to be a slap in the face . They had so much invested in the project , D.T. just kept right on selling ones they know are a problem .......

Please don't take offense to my opinion . Nothing personal to you . Just a heads up for all that buy one .
