As far as boats holding their value, consider this. There are lots of 10-15 year old Apaches out there selling for big money. OL builds a really nice boat, but we won't know how well they hold their value until we get one that is the same age as some of these Apaches. Time will tell. In the mean time, we should all be proud of whatever we run. Who cares who is faster in certain conditions? No matter how fast you can run, there will always be somebody faster! You may have the latest technology today, but it will be dated tomorrow. Let's just enjoy the sport, enjoy and be proud of whatever boat we may have and live happily ever after!

Hot Duck

You sound like my grandmother. Your boat can probably kick the sh!t out of mine but come on.

Hi-perf

Want to stretch the Checks out next year?

I almost forgot to answer the original question. If money were no object, I think that my boat of choice would be a brand new Lip-Ship edition 42' Tiger XP with huge power, #6's and every option imaginable! I absolutely love Apaches, but I would pick a new Tiger over a rehabbed Apache.

Quiet Storm: I am serious. I just like being out on the water. To me it is all fun. I honestly have as good a time cruising at 40 as I do running 100. I even like the days in the bay on the center console. Fishing, swimming, skiing, cruising or racing, makes no difference, I really like it all. Either way you look at it, it all beats a day at work!

108? That is small stuff. Hard to even have a staff on board that small of a ship without them getting in you face all the time. Need a separate deck for the crew. Everyone knows that!
