Chroming would be the easiest way out and definitely the least maintenance to keep clean, BUT, everybody has chrome wheels, and there something kind of special about highly polished aluminum. I've buffed all the alloy metal on my bike to a mirror finish, used good ole Semichrome. Even did my lower fork tubes, top of my transmission, etc. Check the metal on my bike.
