Just checking out this Cig below. What type of power do you think it would take to run 65-70? Do not want SC engines.

my guess would be at least 750 per side, which you could get out of 572's carbed. i'm suprised nobody bought that project.;) :)

I noticed you live around there. Have you seen the boat?

i'm about 30 miles away. i don't particually care for the bottom being painted with valspar paint. it's a nice project for the price, comes with some good parts to. i would pm jeff jassby (jassman) he does business with total marine. i know where they are located but have never done business with them..

The boat is sold, and ran 68 on GPS w/ 525HP 468's, as for the bottom being painted, the whole hull was blueprinted and straightened. We prefer Imron and Valspar for the bottoms. We've done numerous boats, including a 115MPH American Offshore, and the paint holds up great.
