Sinkor swim/ from my perspective the OL and Sutphen are two different ytpes of boats. OL is set up to chase a MPH figure and Sutphen is probably better suited for rough water durability, rough water performance etc. Not to say the OL is not well constructed, obviously it is. You can probably ask any one that has seat time in a Sutphen and ft for ft they probably have the most comfortable ride out there and set the benchmark on turning ability. If you remember, the 32 had the Factory 2 Kilko record for a year or two so the design seems to work fairly well...without the steps. Both are excellent boats!

I know of a 30 or 31" with surface drives for sale with trailer. He may or may not still have engines but I'm sure tranny's are there.

Default Pics of my old Sutphen

I owned this boat from 1986 until 2000. Didn't pay alot for it ($4000) but sure did have alot of fun in it!!! Went thru 6 engines in 14 years but that Volvo outdrive always held together!! Had a 340 Mopar in it most of the time (came new with a 318).

These first two are from 1986 when I first got it.

PS- I wish I had a dollar for every time that someone said "Is that an old Donzi ?"
