Superboat 30-y2k...your thoughts
I ran across this boat and thought it was pretty sweet.
I wanted to know if anyone has seen these run? Any info would be cool. Thanks! I found it here: http://www.superboatonline.com/30p.html |
I was wondering how people like these boat also. I have no personal experience with the brand, but I think they have a seven foot beam. Are they tippy around the dock when entering the boat? They sure do look like a sweet ride. I know there are some fans of super boat out there somewhere, let us have the scoop on these hot rods.

I think that was a couple years ago too. back then John Coen was on the board and we could have asked him.

OSO member JCAP runs one too. You might want to ask him. Or Just go to the Superboat owners forum and ask some of them.
Nice lookin boat though....I personally like their 34. I havent seen any in person, but it looks nice in the pic Good luck |
Falcon rigged one two years ago and the owner put in an HP500 with a Procharger.
I was taking photos of the boat while they tested it and it absolutely flew! Jimmy at Falcon was extremely impressed with the stability of the boat at speed. tracked straight and turned just incredibly... |
Dude!
Eddie's boat is HOT! That looks like one really nice ride! |
Another cool shot

My boat is for sale, I will have a price by Monday. I love this boat, Handles like no other. Keeps up front with boats much bigger and much more power in poker runs.
The picture above is without the 1/4canopy on, This year I triec somthing different, I lowered the seats 6" and removed the canopys for wind resistance. I liked the security but made no speed difference. I can put the canopys back on. HP500efi/XR drive 79-80.5 mph Vortech/XR drive 83 mph Vortech/XRsportmaster 79-80 mph |
I have seen and been on fastedy's boat. It is nice! Built well. Clean rigging, and when I saw it two seasons ago, it was in great shape! I am sure it is the same.

I have a 24 Superboat. The only time I really notice the '7 beam is going between the front seats. It is a little tight. Superboats are very fast and good in the rough. If you are looking for ammenities you may want to look somewhere else. They are all business!
Here's a few pics of my rig ... |

Hey Cat! I cancelled my home internet temporarily and that is why I haven't hit the chat rooms lately!
My 54.00 a month Earthlink became several hundreds bucks. Apparently for the 54 bucks a month you only get 20 hours of usage. I was leaving it on for days at a time. Fockers! I wish they would have warned me! A whippled 500 makes sense. |
