Larry can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he put IMCO Xtreme 4X4s on that boat. They will hold up to that power.
The drives are Imco Extremes with modified Boxes, 1.25 gears and 34 pitch wheels.

I guess I'm getting too conservative in my old age but 148 mph in a 28' boat with your wife along "for the ride" is way too silly.

Not to take anything away from E-ticket's accomplishments, but didn't Forrest Barber and Johnny Tomlinson run 161+ in the Drambuie On Ice Open class 46' Skater with 990 per side in 1999? I was pretty blown away by that...

Beautiful boat.

I don't think it's a good idea to put your wife in a new boat at those speeds while testing.

Yeah, I know....another guy sitting in his Lazy-Boy with an opinion.

My wife Debbie wanted to "do it again" she has raced Skis and is a body builder, no fear her. We have had this boat a speed before with a single 1100HP it is an easy to handle boat. But having raced all my life I know the risks, it's not my first rodeo.
