Yeah. Johnny at Big Oaks has the truck, but the sticker is $43900!!!
Who the F wants On Star anyway?

GM wasn't too bright when they built a full size truck with a 25 gallon tank. I'd have to get an aftermarket tank, or an aux tank.

I just bought an 04 with the Duramax. I love it. I had to have the diesel. I have a friend with the gas and he pulls a 42 Fountain without trouble. He needed airbags for the rear though.

Onstar rocks. When your lost 3 states over, looking for a lake to see some ass, it gets you there.

I have an 03 hd crew cab SLT with a 6.0 and 373 gears. I picked it up at the dealer, backed it up to my eliminator and drove it to GLH's poker run on lake champlain. 1300 km round trip at 130 kph(85mph). The thing pulled like nothing was behind it. I would have gone for the rattler if I was pullin 8000 lbs all the time but at just around 6000 with the trailer the gas motor pulls it no sweat.

PS, the heated leather seats are awfully nice these last few mornings

I just pick up my '04 2500 duramax crewcab longbox. Love it. Traded my H2 Hummer and have no regrets. Hummer got 12.2 miles per gallon with a 6.0 liter gas motor. So far after 1000 miles I am avereging 18.1 mpg.
Putting a plow on next week (after storm WTF). Will be towing a 33 Outlaw. Also thinking of putting in a superchip after breakin. Remember 100k warranty with duramax and Allison.

Tim G.

I have an 01' Suburban LT LOADED, with the 6.0 and 3.73 gears. Tow a Scarab Panther with a Steel trailer and have no problems.

the torque is definetely not similiar to a deisel, it feels like it starts making power at 3000 rpms and up. I also smoked a F350 superduty with a chip and exhaust off the line once, but without a boat in tow ofcourse. Owner said the motor wasn't running right, thats why i won.

It's a decent motor. If they had the D-Max in the Burban I would have got that though.

I have a 2003 Chevy 2500HD 4x4 with the 6.0 litre. It pulls the 25 Outlaw with no problem, the only drawback is the gas mileage. I think my next one will have the duramax.

We have a 2500HD 6.0 2002 with 80000 miles that we use hard as a work truck/yard dog and avg about 17mpg on the highway...Towing a 38' Fountain full of fuel I got about 7mpg...Not sure about the rear gear but might be 3.73. I never bothered to check and each time I ask I am told a different ration

We also use a D-max 3500HD dually and finally got it out of the shop, had some type of relay problems...With under 30' the 6.0 would be fine.

Have you looked at the new dodges?? You can get a quad cab diesel 4x4 for around $30k. ZERO PROBLEMS as mine is my daily driver and I avg about 24mpg highway and 18 city...
