CLK's are great, but they're smallish. Built on the C platform.

CL is built on an S platform.

New CL55 Kompressor is a hoss. (V8 490hp)
New CL600 is equally [email protected] (V12 520hp)
CL63 is gonna be on full kill (at 620hp).

01 and newer CL's are just gorgeous.

you're right

2004 specs
CL55 K (493 hp @ 6100/516ftlb from 2750 to 4000rpm)
CL600 (493hp @ 5000/590ftlb from 1800 to 3500rpm)
CL65 (604hp @ 4800/738ftlb from 2000 to 4000rpm)

And it is a CL65. The 63 designation was an early choice, as the new V12 does not run true to the liter rating. The old v12 was "close" to 6 liters, and got a CL600 designation - while the new V12 is 5.5 liters standard (CL600) and 5.9 liters in the AMG flavor(CL65). Somebody decided that 65 was a better number to use, although it doesn't indicate displacement..
