Aww brutal man. Banshee's rock. Well, it least its cheaper than fixing your boat, right?

thanks Joe....i really didn't think that large hole in the right piston was a problem when i built the motor ;) thought it was a way to save weight

Yep, jetting is crucial in cold weather. We re-jet, stud up the tires and make an oval track out on the ice and kick ass. Only problem we have is some of the better lakes now have ice patrol that frowns on us racing like that.

One other thing, stay out of the snow that has been on the road because the salt from the snowplows stays in the snow and gets onto the bike and turns everything to rust. If possible, flush down the bike after riding.

Good luck on the re-build.

Well, I do but your better off finding some locally because the freight will kill ya. I have two suppliers both who have it in 55 gallon drums and available as I need it. VP C12 runs me about $ 5.00 a gallon and Sunoco CAM2 runs about $ 3.50 a gallon. Both are leaded fuels and smell really good when running ;)
