Transom and Stringers? 10K is enough for a bandaid. There is only one way to really fix stringers and that is replace them which means gutting the boat and splitting the deck. I went as far as gutting a donzi but should have split the deck and replaced the whole system bulkheads and all, after 200lbs of glass and cloth, doubling the stringers and bulkheads, it still flexed and caused cracks up and down the lift strakes. I sold it and never looked back. The Transom is another story.

I'm with you, 10 k for stringers transom AND gimballs??
This sounds like H2O damage that is exensive. That thing aint worth over 16k.
Cafe's of that vintage are bringing only 45-k unrestored and 55 k restored at best.
Better yet, skip it.
