new performance boat sales down?
 

with a week economy and high unemploment this past year , does anyone know if new performance boat factory orders are down and if this is a good time to make some great deals ?

My Mother works for a major trailer company up here in Pa, I can tell you many places are HURTING.

Everything is down,its just the economy:(

The economy is going back up! Trouble with performance boats is, so is the INSURANCE! I'm almost ready to trade into a center console Contender.

boat sales are picking up but they still suck.

My family(parents) own several delis and restuarants around Houston and our sales are way down right now...Thats why I started working in the trucking company with my cousin:)

I am in the Furniture biz and its down but were not hurting.Nov and dec are soft .Just waiting on income tax time .We usually turn our inventory over 3 times during this time.i wish they would split the cks up 2 times a year.

I was talking to PQ yesterday and they are jammed with orders right now. They are very busy and VERY happy right now.
I have also been looking for a Top Gun and they are sold as soon as they are traded in.

hmm, and what are we hauling:D

Since the Ft. Lauderdale show sales have gone through the roof on new boats.

I'm in the tooling industry and its on an upswing...we usually see it first.

I have noticed a big drop in late model used boat pricing.
I think the new boat builders are mostly building boats to order now, so you won't see too many great deals on new boats. If you can find any left-over 2003 models in stock, you should be able to make a great deal. And don't forget, with low interest rates now you will save a lot on interest.

We frequently dine out, tell me which ones they own and we will spend our money with you.

I'll second that our orders have been picking up quite a bit in the last few months hopefully it continues. I would guess that if your going to get a good deal on anything now is probably the best time. The more the econemy improves the fewer good deals your going to find.
