All I did was find the right website for IP tracing. :D :D

My firewall at home will do the same thing, except I can't trace an IP that didn't come into my system.
Example: several months ago I had a major attack on my firewall. I did a back trace to see who it was. IP address was traced to an address in Bogota, Columbia. I turned it over to my ISP provider for action.

BTW what are you going to do with the info??

Wasn't all that hard.
I went to my trusty Metacrawler Search Engine (www.metacrawler.com) and searched for "free IP address tracing".
I asked for free sites because I found most had a 20-30.00 useage fee.
This is the site I found www.dshield.org

The Ip tracking that comes with comcast does nto seem that great.
Well at least The few firewall threats I have had came back with no info :(

I get about 15 attacks a night. All from the same source. :hothead:
Weekends are worse. This joker is constantly knocking on my door wanting in.
