Took the family to Hershey, Pa. this weekend for their Xmas show. It was cold. Nothing like draging around a 4, 3y.o. and an 8 month old all weekend. Then, when we are 30 min.'s from home the 7.3PSD X dies on the side of the road. !st the radio went, then the gauges, then the wipers, the windows, then the engine. Got a friend to pick up the family as I waited for a tow. BTW, good luck getting a tow truck during a snow storm. Couldn't get it restarted. I reset the batteries thinking that it could be a loose connection but no. 3 hrs. later the tow showed up and had a heck of a time getting that overweight animal up. Then it was off and almost over as it sllid across the back around a turn. It made it safe back to the towyard and it'll be off to the dealer in the a.m. Wondering what went wrong and hoping it's up and running soon as it is our only winter vehicle.
