What would be the top speed range of a 33' Fountain with 500 HP's? Not sure of the year.

Hi Sprague hows it going. one of the guys in LEOPA has a boat similar to that he is seeing low 70's i believe. non step early 90's hull

what year, have a 92 35 w/ 500hp 502s running 78 on gps in early summer, 76 gps on hot humid summer

86 MPH @ 5400 RPM's
with stock Merc 475HP 454's and TRS drives

I HAVE 35 LIGHTING 1996 1 STEP TWIN 502'S AND SEE 65 MPH SO FAR.

Lee, I'm amazed!! Was that 86 MPH on a GPS?? Was the water level?? --- Sorry to sound skeptical, but that just sounds TOO good to be totally accurate. If that is right, then I need to know about lots of other things; like drive heights, transmissions, props, etc. --- Jer
