Where's the front half of the car?
Looks like it was pretty well disintegrated before it hit.

Believe it or not I saw three high school kids go around a corner in a 1986 mustang GT that did much the same thing. These guys were stoned and drunk. Going approx. 90 mph around this corner on a 30 mph road, they went flying off the road. The outside of the road was sharply built up so when then went off the road at 90 mph they hit a big oak tree about 20 feet up the tree. The car split in half and looked EXACTLY like the one pictured above!!! The only difference was the car was much farther up the tree. Here's the kicker... ALL THREE SURVIVED THE CRASH. The two in the front seats only had minor injuries and the one in the back seat got pretty messed up. This was 15 years ago, I saw the passenger that was in the back seat three weeks ago and he seemed to be 100%. Talk about three lucky people. It's really disturbing how much those pictures above look like the accident I'm describing... right down to the car color and five spoke wheels.

WOW. My brother had a roomate from Germany years ago and the guys father was a Ferrarri Mech. He showed me a picture like this were the car actually looked almost perfect but the tree went right up the middle and cut the thing in half. AMAZING what happens when you go off the road at speed.

Yup JO, my comment was a sacastic one .. I should have put the They don't build cars like they used to .. huh?? A nice Plymouth Charger or Chevy Impala from the late 60's would have plowed that oak over like a bulldozer! (Yeah right )
