Getting ready to go under the knife

Well the time is near Thursday at 8:00 my neurosurgeon will fix my back. I have hurt for many years now and I am to the point I can not take the pain any longer. OSO has help me through my information hunt and I thank you for that. Hopefully I have done my homework. This Spinal fusion is some scary stuff but I have no choice now.Otto thank you for your input I am sorry I did not get into greater detail but I did discuss what you told me with my doctor. If you guys don't mind say a little prayer for me on Thursday.

Thanks

David Ledford

Dont sweat it Dave, youll be on your feet quicker than you think and feeling better than you have in years. Careful with the meds and if you need to, now is the time to drop some weight then get in shape when your recovered. Staying healthy when youve got a bad spine is imperative!
Good luck,
Chris

You will wake up and the pain will be gone, the incision will be painful but the leg pain will be gone. I had this done and still snowmobile, dirt bike, boat, lift weights you name it. For some reason I go down once a year for about 3 weeks. It is usually from over doing it but it goes away and is more of an irritant and a good reminder to take it easy. Just do the exercises and everything they tell you to do. Good luck and you will feel better.
