$200k for a 36 Apache 1992 I know enough. Get a 41.

ScalpTaker36 12-15-2003 10:09 PM

I kinda agree..

Was anyone ever seen this boat.

I Think...

It was sold on E-bay this past summer for around $ 68,000. I had bid but was later denied because of "zero feedback".

Too bad i told the seller I had $.

He later informed me the buyer was on the east coast, this boat started out on the west coast WA area.

Someone is trying to triple his money.

Give me a break

36 WARRIOR

Scalp it looks like a nice one, but not for that kind of money. It was for sale in flordia back in 1998 for $225,000 then went out west. The boys at Delray would give one of the 2 36 left over for that kind of cash, and it would be way lighter. Call Mark Adams I detailed a few nice APACHES for him a few weeks back. You would look good in BROKEN ARROW. Steve

thats not a lot of money......for an idiot

Neverfastenuf 12-16-2003 09:25 AM

Wasn't the boat sold to someone associated with NASCAR??? It seems in the thread regarding this Apache that was the jest of it. Wannabe, do you remember??? The boat really is a nice, but that kind of return on the money is somewhat "inflated". Sam

Re: Upping the Price

Thats the good part about the Apache ,,, They are all different ,,,

Its all about you,,, what do you want for yourself??

Scalp,,, the upside is 850s with sixes,,, thats worth 94Know what is the Hull and interior worth ,,, I dont believe 100K

again they are different, me I have the only 36, with 600s and xrs ,,, all factory stock and very dependable

Nykamp ,,, has one that is close to mine, runs great , but still, its not the same as mine,,, AAhhh its a great world we live in,,, to be able to have a big ol bucket of resin and know that its the only one of its kind -----

Yep its all good!!! Price, U cant put a Value on individuality !!

RHC;) ;) ;)

Lets all go to Ga. and run the boats 3/20/o4 Sav. Poker Run

APACHES

RHC said it very well. They are custom built, and no paint job is the same. Eric told me that this 92 was one of his most favorite boats they built. I recently went thru my power boat mag. collection back to 1994 and the 41's have gone up or held their value for the last 10 years. So back then the used one where for sale for the same price they are today. I am sure they dipped and seem to have risen. Can't wait to let them rip again next summer RHC.

Apache

Neverfastenuf- The person who bought works for Penske and they are associated w/ NASCAR in a big way so you may be right.

The boat has staggered engines and only three across bolsters- no back seat. Set up for a Poker Run if you ask me- but with a full cabin- Very unusual and limits it's appeal for many people.

The asking price is insane compared to what's out there and available. The auction was in the July or August time frame I believe.

Every Apache is custom built, no doubt,

But we just saw a 38 Top Gun with mega motors and # 5's get sold here in michigan for "around $ 85 to $ 90 k"

Wannabe, I entertained the idea of purchasing(bidding on) the 36 Apache when it was on Ebay. My reason was, as I am sure yours was also, it was such a good deal. The price now, is no where near as attractive as it was then. Like you posted, the market is saturated with extremely good deals now. Look at the deal OSO's Jeff has on the big HP Fountain. Sam

wannabe 12-18-2003 03:21 PM

Neverfst-

That is one heck of a deal on that big Fountain, but it is too specialized for Poker Runs (ex-race boat).

Need a little creature comfort for the Mrs. (and myself frankly)

Steve,

Broken Arrow is a real Beauty...

The whole
12 year old $300K boat thing is a little uncomfortable.

I spoke to Mark Adams a couple of weeks ago. I'm still tossing aeroung the idea of a clean 41 with 900's.

There's just no other boat besides an Apache that really does it for me.

What else is there??

Besides Cig & OL (both are good boats, but just not my taste)

Hey Scalp, call Terry Sobo at Nor-Tech and check out what they've got, you might dig it.

APACHE

Scalp do you want a pleasure version or a 6 pack boat?Kageman is a nice side by side #6 boat with MERC 800's. ALLEZ VITE is a nice full stagger. Nor Techs are nice, I take care of a 50.
