We ship a lot daily on LTL carriers like USF Holland, Yellow, ABF, etc. Bulk has as much to do with it as weight, also how easy it is to break.

If the shipper has a carrier they get a good rate with, then use that company. Even if it is collect, the discount with pass through.

Make sure they insure it if it will break easy!

I assume it is thin, and would estimate freight charges from $65.00 to $85.00.

Good luck.

oh taht isn;t bad at all!!!!

the guy who is making it seems to think its goign to be prohibitivley expensive!

if it is thin then the rate will be much cheaper. Last LTL load I had goingto NY from LA was 10' and I charged him .65 cents a mile...And of course you get the OSO discount;)

puder,

cig1988 who keeps his boat in mt sinai is in trucking. send him a pm

sean

btw...at .50 cents per mile from LA to NY would run abotu $1000????

OUCH! the good news is I wasn;t plannignon sending it via a private semi!!!

80k lbs worth of cargo capacity for a 4lbs sheet of carbon fiber is kinda overkill :D
