Default Windsheild washer fluid

Does anyone know were I can get the windshield washer fluid that comes with the BMW and Saabs and maybe some others. This stuff works SO much better then any of the other stuff that I have tried. Cleans better and does not leave water stains. Tried Saab and BMW and no luck there....

Thanks
Jon

Jon,

I get the BMW washer concentrate for my X5 from the BMW dealership here in Toledo. Not inexpensive, but you are right ... this stuff works great! Let me know if you want me to pick up a bulk order and send it to you. The BMW wheel cleaner is the cat's ass, too!

Red dog thanks I will try them again. I tried them a couple years ago when we had the BMW and they said no joy but I will try again. I do not care how expensive it is it is just THAT GOOD!!!! It also works MUCH better on the lights then the stuff you can get local.

Jon

Try the Rain-X brand fluid.
Not only does it clean well, but it also puts a light coating of Rain-X on the glass.
If you're a regular user of Rain-X it'll make each application last longer.

If you are going to use WWF with Rain-x in it, make SURE you have a strong coat of wax around and in front of your WWF jets, (if on hood or cowling), and on your roof, and A-pilliars. (If you have headlight jets, coat the bumber and the hood well). I know folks who add Rain-x to their WWF, and I can imgine the Rain-x brand being the same. It will damage your paint after a short while. It will take the gloss out of it, and eat away your clear coat while you can't see it doing it.

Sydwayz, are you saying the rain-x stuff eats paint/clearcoat when mixed with WWF? or just straight? I drained my WWF and run straight Rain-x stuff and have no problems here for the past year now.

I've been using it since it came out. I know it's been well over a year.
Walmart carries it.

BTW don't get the type you add to existing WWF, doesn't work well. Rain-X makes their own WWF with the the product already in it.
